Locally
Each of our brothers complete 8 hours of community service monthly. As a group we organize opportunities to serve these hours with Spaghetti Dinner's at the campus church, at Father Bills in Middleborough, helping set-up for campus events, selling Christmas trees, and other ways to help out the local community. Above all, we encourage brothers to seek out their passions and become servant leaders in society.
Nationaly
Nationally Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity chose Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as its national philanthropy in 1997. Since then, members have supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through sporting events, Dance Marathons, auctions and a host of other various events.
Our chapter hosts philanthropy events dedicated to raising money for the Children's Miracle Network including our wings night at Buffalo Wild Wings this past winter. In addition we participate in and raise money for Movember which is a month long initiative to raise money and awareness for men's health related issues, including prostate and testicular cancers. This takes places during the whole month of November where you can see our guys walking around campus with our facial hair and tabling each week to bring awareness.

Relay For Life
Each year the chapter participates in BSU's Relay for Life where teams camp out at the Tinsley Center. The chapter has a representative on the track at all times during the event which usually lasts 12 to 18 hours. Down below the track the brothers have their decorated campsite where they enjoy food, cards, conversation and throwing around the frisbee. The brothers have a on-site fundraiser each year as well to help raise additional funds for the American Cancer Society. This unforgettable overnight event is fun, emotional, and a wonderful experience to share with other student organizations including other Greek Life members.
